GBI / PNP Anti Crime Partnership in Tarlac

Crime prevention can not be done by the police alone. It is imperative that the partnership of the community is obtained.

On September 2, 2009 the Concepcion, Tarlac PNP launched an anti crime partnership of the PNP / LGU / GBI and others. Local government officials led by Mayor Noel L. Villanueva attended the launch along with high ranking PNP officers from the province led by PSSUPT Rudy G. Lacadin. Acting Region III Regional Founder Arnaiz "FDR Nice" S. Salas coordinated efforts to see GBI Brothers from Tarlac, Dau and Nueva Ecija participating, some 140 in total.

P.A.R.A.K. or Pulis At Residente Aksyon laban sa Krimen is a linkage and partnership with the PNP, local government units, and NGOs in Concepcion, Tarlac aiming to prevent crimes in the municipality. The launching started with a foot parade around the Poblacion area and converged at the Plaza. The parade was followed by a program which showed the solidarity of the different organizations with the LGU and the PNP. It showcased also the talents of students and groups in the municipality.

The Guardians Brotherhood Inc. (GBI Mainstream), a staunch supporter of the progams and projects of the Municiaplity of Concepcion LGU and the PNP Concepcion participated actively in the said affair. The GBI Brothers joined the PNP staff in presenting a short drama skit at the end of the affair showing how the residents can help the PNP in protecting peace and order.

Burning of effigies of criminal elements followed, led by Mayor Noel L. Villanueva and Vice Mayor Andy Lacson for the local government units, PSSUPT Rudy G. Lacadin (Provincial Director) and PSUPT Neil O. Miro (Chief of Police) for the law enforcement body, and representatives of the NGOs and Civil Societies for the citizenry alongside the GBI Mainstream.
